I-229 is four to six lanes of 65 mile-per-hour serious business. And that serious business requires some rules.

It will stay in effect until Friday (August 23)

If you live to work on the east side of Sioux Falls you've probably driven through some construction on I-229 near the Cliff Ave exit this July. It's the first step of a larger project that is expected to improve the traffic flow and safety.

Traffic will be impacted until November

It starts May 20th

It's all part of Sioux Falls' latest Diverging Diamond Interchange project

Portions of Interstate 229 in Sioux Falls will be down to just one lane in each direction for several days.

Work is expected to take six days to complete
