Powerball Ticket Sold in South Dakota Saturday Night Worth $150,000
The PowerPlay option tripled the prize money on a winning lottery ticket sold in South Dakota Saturday night (May 6).
The winning ticket holder matched 4 of the 5 white numbers and the Powerball to win the $50,000 prize - and then tripled it with the PowerPlay 3x.
The ticket was sold in Martin, South Dakota and the winner is encouraged to put the ticket in a safe place and sign the back.
The drawn numbers were 11, 21, 31, 41, 59, and the Powerball 21.
However, there were no grand prize winners so the jackpot grows to $165 million for Wednesday night.
Meanwhile, South Dakota's Hot Lotto Sizzler is getting some attention due to the size of it's jackpot. It's up to an estimated $6.3 million for the May 10th drawing.
