South Dakota, Iowa Among States With Least Time on Cell Phones

We live in a world where it's getting harder and harder to distance ourselves from technology.

But in two local states, we have a much better handle on our screen time compared to the rest of the country.

A new study from Amerisleep, analyzed each US state's average monthly searches for 3,200 terms such as ‘battery overheating’ or ‘why is my phone not working’ to discover where there have been the most problems resulting from the frequent use of devices, therefore learning where cell phones are used the most.

When broken down by monthly searches per 100,000 people, cell phone users in South Dakota and Iowa show some of the best cell phone discipline in America.

The most cell phone-obsessed state in America is Nevada.

The Silver State sees a monthly average of 5,550.74 searches for phone problems (462.56 per 100,000 people). The most common searches in Nevada are ‘phone charging slowly’, ‘phone glitching’, and ‘iPhone screen black’.
