2026 Burger Battle: Big Sioux Burger [REVIEW]

The 2026 Burger Battle continues in Downtown Sioux Falls through the end of January, and for the 13th annual event, your choices are the most plentiful than they've ever been.

This year, there are 50 different burgers to choose from, shattering last year's record of 39 entries.

Your involvement is pretty simple:

This year's offering from Big Sioux Burger is the Spring Roll Showdown.

Here's the official description:

All the crunch of a spring roll, supercharged with beef. Two seasoned smash patties stack up on a soft hamburger bun smeared with sweet chili cream cheese. Hoisin-infused spring roll veggie blend of carrots, cabbage, and mushrooms brings the crisp and the color layered between the patties and piled on top. Finished with fried wontons and a sweet-chili drizzle.

This really was the best of both worlds.

The great taste and texture of Big Sioux's smash mouth patties, paired with an abundance of Asian flavor. It really does taste like a spring roll on a burger! Lots of crunch and lots of spice in every bite.
