Sioux Falls Bank Is One of World’s Fastest Growing Companies

When Fortune magazine recently updated its' list of the '100 Fastest Growing Companies' in the world, they included a local business.

Sioux Falls based Meta Financial Group went from being unranked in 2016, to 64th overall in 2017.

So what it take to get on Fortune's radar?  How about $247 million in revenue over the last four quarters.

The magazine provided a little perspective on the company:

Founded in 1954 with just $10,000, this once-tiny South Dakota bank company now has more than $4 billion in assets.

On its website, Meta Financial Group lists itself as the the holding company for MetaBank, which includes retail banking, electronic payments, insurance premium financing, and tax-related financial solutions.

MetaBank currently has ten branch locations in eastern South Dakota and northwest Iowa.
