
Lane Changes Ahead as Bridge Work Begins on I-90 in South Dakota
Road construction season in South Dakota is about to enter another phase for a multi-million dollar project west of Sioux Falls.
What to expect
Beginning Monday (June 9), lane closures will go into effect on Interstate 90 near Hartford, as crews will begin work on a bridge deck replacement at 459th Avenue.

Signs will be placed near the work zone to alert motorists about the road work.

During the construction, traffic will be closed on 459th Avenue from 260th Street to 261st Street.

The $2.5 million project is expected to be completed in June 2026.
