Detour Route Set As 60th Street North Closes For Repaving

A lengthy closure is about to hit a street in northern Sioux Falls.

Beginning Monday (July 6th), 60th Street North will be closed between Cliff Avenue and Interstate 229. The closure will allow crews to mill and overlay the street.

During the closure, traffic will be detoured to Benson Road via Bahnson Avenue and Cliff Avenue. Local traffic will be maintained for the businesses along 60th Street North.

The work is expected to be done by the end of July.

More than anything, I'm holding out for Star Trek transporter technology. I'm not necessarily not excited about driverless cars. I for sure would be happy to not have to drive anymore. But, I don't want to do that until EVERYONE ELSE does it too.
