Construction On Arrowhead Parkway Means Detours For Drivers
A major road construction project on Sioux Falls' east side is about to enter a new phase, which will bring with it a new set of headaches for drivers.
Beginning Thursday (May 21st), Arrowhead Parkway will be closed between Veterans Parkway and Highline Avenue to allow construction crews to begin reconstruction on the west side of the Arrowhead Parkway and Veterans Parkway intersection.
Arrowhead Parkway east of Veterans Parkway will be open to traffic. Veterans Parkway will remain open; however, it will switch to the new northbound lanes.
Motorists should utilize Veterans Parkway, Six Mile Road, or Sycamore Avenue to either Madison Street, 26th Street, or 41st Street as alternate routes.
