Two Minnesota Pizza Places Make Yelp’s Top 100 List

You can never have enough good pizza in your life so it's always a good idea to know where exactly you can sink your teeth into a great-tasting pie when those cravings hit.

Yelp! is doing their part with the recent release of the Top 100 Pizza Spots, According to Yelp Elites 2024.

Two Minnesota establishments made the elite list.

79. Surly Brewing, Minneapolis

Best known for exceptional craft brew beer, this spot is also serving pizza upstairs at their Malcolm Avenue location. It's billed as their take on New Haven–style pizza, a style of thin-crust, coal-fired Neapolitan pizza.

Surly's menu features pies with great names like I'm Your Daddy, Walter White, Has Science Gone Too Far?, and Bring Me More.

Even their plain cheese pizza is called Kevin.

84. Pizzeria Lola - Minneapolis

This place on Xerxes Ave South is so good that when Guy Fieri came to the Tinw Cities, he included it on an episode of 'Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives'.

You can have what he had - Chef Ann Kim's Lady ZaZa, My Sha-Roni, and The Sunnyside.

New York and California are the reigning champs when it comes to Yelpers’ favorite pizza places, with each state laying claim to ten of the Top 100:
