Vaccine Mandate in Minnesota’s Twin Cities
The policy, which covers licenses businesses that serve food and/or drinks inside, says customers will have to show proof of Covid-10 vaccination or a negative antigen or PCR test no older than 72 hours ago.
What's Considered Fully Vaccinated?
To be considered fully vaccinated in this mandate, you have to have the original course of shots, so a single Johnson & Johnson shot or the two shots from Pfizer/Moderna. No word on boosters.
There is no "end date" for the policy. Mayor Frey says it's temporary and a critical step to avoid businesses closing.
While businesses serving food or drink inside are covered, schools, hospitals, grocery stores, and people picking up takeout are exempt. Minneapolis and St Paul both will release more info on the policy soon.
