TRAFFIC ALERT: Downtown Sioux Falls Road Closure, Lane Closures

Getting around downtown Sioux Falls will be a bit tricky in some spots this week.

Beginning today (Monday), the northbound outside lane on South Minnesota Avenue will be closed at West 14th Street.

Tomorrow (Tuesday), the westbound outside lane on West 14th Street will be closed at South Minnesota Avenue.

The lane closures will allow crews to clean windows at the Premier Bank building.

All lanes are expected to reopen by Wednesday.

Also, downtown Monday at noon, the parking lane along West 10th Street and West 11th Street will be closed for sanitary work in the alley between South Phillips Avenue and South Main Avenue.

Monday night, West 10th Street and West 11th Street will be reduced to one lane between South Phillips Avenue and South Main Avenue for sanitary sewer work.

This work is anticipated to be completed overnight, traffic control will be removed by noon on Tuesday.

Tuesday, South Spring Avenue will be closed between 11th Street and 12th Street so that crews can perform water main work.

This work is expected to be completed in one week.
