Temporary Off-Ramp Closure Coming to I-229 in Sioux Falls
Drivers on Interstate 229 in Sioux Falls will have one fewer option to get where they're going for the next few days.
The South Dakota Department of Transportation has announced that beginning Monday (October 28) at 9:00 AM, the southbound off-ramp at the 10th Street Exit (Exit 6) will be closed.
The closure will allow crews to repair pavement as part of a $1 million improvement project.

The work is expected to be completed by Wednesday, (October 30) at 9:00 AM.
During the closure, I-229 southbound traffic is encouraged to exit at Rice Street (Exit 7) or 26th Street (Exit 5).
