Bruce Springsteen played Limerick, Ireland on Tuesday, but he had his mind on what was happening back home, dedicating "American Skin (41 Shots)" to Trayvon Martin.

In his first gig since the George Zimmerman was acquitted of murdering the unarmed teen, Springsteen reportedly saw a sign requesting "American Skin" and answered the call. He said, "Where is that sign?" and he grabbed it from a fan.

Springsteen was inspired to write the song after the police shooting death of Amadou Diallo in New York City in 1999.

It's not the first time that Springsteen has dedicated song to Martin. He played it several times in 2012, after Martin's killing first made headlines.
