This year's offering from Dahlia Kitchen + Bar is the Avocado Sunrise.

Here's the official description:

An 8-oz beef patty with candied bacon, crispy deep-fried avocado slices, queso fresco, pickled red onions, and creamy poblano garlic aioli, all crowned with an over-medium egg nestled into a soft brioche bun.

Full disclosure: I am NOT an egg on my burger kind of guy. But I love Dahlia too much to let that discourage me from trying it.

Much to my surprise, it worked!

The overall look of the burger was impressive, with the egg actually nestled inside the top bun rather than sitting on top of the burger. The folks at Dahlia even gave you the little divot of bread that was removed to make room for the egg!

It tasted as good as it looked, with a generous portion of avocado and a variety of toppings that played off of each other well and made this a tasty treat.

So, I decided to search my cupboards and refrigerator looking for other South Dakota-made foods and came up with my Top 5.
