An ongoing construction project on Interstate 90, west of Sioux Falls, is forcing the temporary closure of a portion of South Dakota Highway 19.

The South Dakota Department of Transportation says that the stretch of highway that runs underneath I-90 at Exit 379 in Humboldt will be closed Tuesday (May 23) from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM.

During that time, crews will be constructing a footing for the new I-90 bridge over the highway.
