Month Long Ronnie James Dio Hologram Tour Announced, Stops in ST. Paul
Horns up everyone! Metal vocal icon Ronnie James Dio is heading out on the road this summer for a month-long hologram tour! The legendary heavy metal singer died in 2010 at the age of 67 from stomach cancer. The Dio hologram, created by Eyellusion, first debuted in 2016 the Wacken Open Air Festival in August 2016 in front of 75,000 fans and was a huge success! Dio's widow Wendy Dio was part of the team that created the illusion.
The 18 city tour kicks off on May 31, 2019, in Ft. Myers, Florida and wraps up June 29, 2019, in Las Vegas. One of the stops on the tour includes a visit to The Myth in Maplewood, Minnesota. Tickets start at $35 and are set to go on sale this Friday, April 12, 2019, at 10:00AM. Luxury suites are also available.
