For some, blasting out of the house as soon as the Thanksgiving table was cleared to shop for "early bird" deals was a tradition.

That meant a lot of people in the retail business didn't get to spend the Thanksgiving holiday with family and friends because they had to work.

Every year, more retailers are closing their doors to give folks a chance to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday at home - which is a good thing. Many people do gift-giving names drawing, board games, decorating the Christmas trees, and baking. Oh, and football.

But, if you're determined to head out to shop, finding a business that has open doors on Thanksgiving is getting harder.
