By the end of the summer, the Tri-State Area (South Dakota, Iowa, and Minnesota) will be losing one store from a national retail giant.

Which Chain?

Plano, Texas-based At Home says it will close 26 stores by September 30 as part of its Chapter 11 Bankruptcy proceedings.

According to court documents filed Monday (June 16), the restructuring is necessary because of 'broader economic and retail-specific market pressures'.

Among the closings is the Rochester, Minnesota location on U.S. Highway 63. The 90,000 square foot store opened in 2022 in a space that had been occupied by ShopKo from 1982 to 2019.
