Legendary Sioux Falls Restaurant Closing After More than 40 Years
It is one of those places that is more than just a restaurant.
It's an institution.
But after over 40 years of serving up some of the tastiest breakfasts and lunches in Sioux Falls and developing one of the most rabid fan bases in town, it's about to shut its doors.
Rosie's Cafe broke the news on social media Tuesday (March 18) afternoon:
The cafe, on Madison Street just west of the PREMIER Center, opened in 1984 when Rosie Warner decided to build a menu around her mother's recipes. A menu that has hardly changed since.
Rosie handed over the day-to-day operations of the cafe to her daughter Beckie in 2015.
Rosie's Cafe has been proof positive that you can make the most out of the least. It's only open until 1:00 PM Monday through Friday and only until 10:00 AM on Saturday.
Until it's time to say goodbye...
