iPhone Without Headphone Jack?
The internet is all abuzz with the news that the new iPhone coming out later next year will be released without a conventional headphone jack.
Now, before you freak out because your iPhone is the house for all your music, you can still use headphones, they will just plug into the lightning jack, that's the slot where you charge your phone.
This means your old headphones won't work unless you get a convertor.
But never fear, just as headphones came with the old iPhones, the new fancy headphones for the lightning jack will be included with the new phone, says the 'reliable source.'
So really, this might seem like a big deal, but not really. If Apple was getting rid of the headphone slot but then not providing new headphones, then there would be a problem, but I think we will all survive. People were upset about the charger being different a couple years ago and somehow we are all got along just fine.
Plus, there is still a lot of time between now and the reveal of the next iPhone, which is usually in September. I'm sure we will hear more about this and other features for the phone in the meantime.
