The word 'dynasty' is usually reserved for foreign kingdoms and multiple championships in the sports world, but there's a beer dynasty brewing in our neck of the woods, and the latest chapter has just been written.

The website Beer Advocate is out with its annual rundown of the Top 250 Rated Beers in the world and one Iowa brewery dominated.

Toppling Goliath Brewing Company in Decorah landed three of its creations in 2024's Top 11, including the best beer on the planet for a staggering tenth straight year.

Toppling Goliath's Kentucky Brunch Brand Stout not only pulled down a perfect 100 score, but checked in at the number-one spot as it has every year since 2015.

The brew is described as 'chocolate chip pancakes drenched with maple syrup served with espresso and a shot of bourbon, all in one sip.'

Toppling Goliath's dominance continued at the number-three spot with its Vanilla Bean Assassin, which also scored a perfect 100.

It's described as an 'Imperial stout conditioned on vanilla beans and aged in whiskey barrels.'

Chalk up another perfect score for Toppling Goliath's Mornin' Delight at number-11 globally.

It's described as 'a huge Imperial Stout with an explosive espresso aroma followed by strong notes of maple syrup and coffee.'
