Recently, Delish posted the results of a study done by Technomic, identifying America's favorite chain restaurants. The top ten reveal how our definition of 'chain restaurant' has evolved.

Alongside a handful of traditional sit-down restaurants are a pair of smoothie places, a coffee place, and a VERY surprising number-one choice.

Sitting atop the heap is Nothing Bundt Cake, the Farmers Branch, Texas-based chain is the number one specialty cake company in America, with over 600 locations, including one in South Dakota, four in Iowa, and ten in Minnesota.
