The national chain had operated out of the 41st Street location for the past 30 years.
Despite news of the closing, as of Monday night, the Sioux Falls location is still listed on the company’s website.
Fuddruckers was founded in San Antonio, Texas in 1989. Less than a decade later the franchise had grown to 150 locations nationwide.
By 2011, that number topped 200 locations worldwide.
Shortly after that, the company began to experience financial hardships and by the middle of 2021 there were only 80 Fuddruckers still operational.
