Fast Food Giant Is Using Minnesota to Test New Menu Items
One of the heavy hitters in the fast-food world is looking to expand their menu a bit and they're using some Minnesota customers as guinea pigs.
According to Newsweek, some Taco Bell locations in the Twin Cities are testing a pair of new food items.
Minneapolis is one of two test markets, along with Indianapolis, for Taco Bell's new Crispy Chicken Nuggets and Cheesy Street Chalupas.
The nuggets are offered in five or 10-piece boxes, with a spicy jalapeno buttermilk marinade and either Bell Sauce or Jalapeno Honey Mustard.
The Chalupas are stuffed with mozzarella and pepper jack cheese shells and then filled with shredded chicken or grilled marinated steak, along with a blend of cilantro and onions plus jalapeno ranch sauce.
