Comedian Nick Swardson Coming to Grand Falls Casino & Golf Resort
Comedian/Actor/Writer and Minnesota native Nick Swardson is bringing his latest stand-up tour to our area later this year.
He appear on the Events Center Stage at Grand Falls Casino & Golf Resort in Larchwood, Iowa.
The show is Saturday, April 13 at 8:00 PM.
Swardson was raised in the Twin Cities, where he started acting and performing improv comedy at age 16. His stand-up career began two years later at the Acme Comedy Company in Minneapolis.
He first rose to national prominence in 2003, when he began a six-year run as Terry Bernadino on the Comedy Central series Reno 911!. He eventually appeared in 28 episodes.
In 2010, Swardson launched his own sketch comedy series Pretend Time on Comedy Central.
He has appeared in a number of movies over the years, including Almost Famous (2000), The Benchwarmers (2006), Click (2006), Blades of Glory (2007), I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry (2007), and You Don't Mess with the Zohan (2008).
He has developed a working relationship and friendship with Adam Sandler, collaborating on a number of projects, including Grandma's Boy (2006) and Bucky Larson: Born to Be a Star (2011).
Tickets for the Grand Falls show go on sale to the general public, Friday, January 12, at 10:00 AM.
