Terry Fator Brings His Ventriloquist Magic To Larchwood This October
After more than a decade of letting audiences come to him in Las Vegas, ventriloquist Terry Fator is bringing his show to the people.
Touring Again
The season two winner of NBC's America's Got Talent is launching his 2025 'On the Road Again' tour, which will include a stop in our area.
Show Information
Fator and his 'cast of characters' will take the stage at Grand Falls Casino & Golf Resort in Larchwood, Iowa, Saturday, October 18th at 8:00 PM.
The Backstory
Fator's love of ventriloquism dates back to age ten when he was searching topics for a Valentine's Day assignment and came across a book about ventriloquism, Ventriloquism for Fun and Profit, by Paul Winchell.
That book inspired him to purchase his first dummy, Willie Talk, from Sears. The two later teamed up to win the $25 grand prize at a church picnic talent show.
As an adult, Fator began singing in groups like Freedom Jam and Texas The Band, when he began incorporating his puppet Walter T. Airedale into his shows.

After a few setbacks, Fator began impersonating celebrity singers like Garth Brooks, Etta James, James Taylor, and Dean Martin. He eventually became an opening act for Reba McEntire, Garth Brooks, Neal McCoy, and Styx.
Hitting the Big Time
His breakthrough moment came in 2007 when he won America's Got Talent, which led to him landing a $1.5 million contract with the Las Vegas Hilton to do three shows a month from January to May 2008. Later that year, Fator signed one of the biggest contracts in Las Vegas history at the time - a five-year, $100 million deal with The Mirage.
He stayed there for 11 years and was named the 'Best Las Vegas Strip Headliner' by Las Vegas Weekly three years in a row.
Ticket Information
Tickets for the all-ages show in Larchwood are on sale now and range from $50-$65 (plus taxes and fees).
