Minnesota has been known as the 'Land of 10,000 Lakes' for generations, but now the state may be getting a new nickname - 'Land of the Millionaires'

For the sixth time in 2024, there has been a winning Minnesota Lottery ticket worth at least $1 million (before taxes).

The latest massive haul happened last night (Wednesday) in the Gopher 5 game, when someone matched all five numbers to lay claim to the $2,045,590 jackpot, which just happens to be the largest payout in the state so far this year.

The numbers drawn were 16, 29, 35, 43, and 46.

The winning ticket was sold at Orton's Holiday in Baxter.
