2026 Burger Battle: Bread & Circus Sandwich Kitchen [REVIEW]

The 2026 Burger Battle continues in Downtown Sioux Falls through the end of January, and for the 13th annual event, your choices are more plentiful than ever. This year, there are 50 different burgers to choose from, shattering last year's record of 39 entries.

Your involvement is pretty simple:

• Identify the burgers you want to try
• Show up hungry
• Eat
• Download the DTSF Passport app to your phone

• Find the burger in the app and rank it in five categories (Remember to enter the verification code provided to you by the restaurant)

This year's offering from Bread & Circus Sandwich Kitchen is the 'Das Brat Burger'.

Here's the official description:

A 6oz house-made bratwurst patty topped with rich beer cheese, house sauerkraut braised with beer, bacon, and onions, house grainaise, all served on a custom Breadico pretzel bun inspired by classic German biergarten flavors.

This is for anyone who wants to support a local business during this event, without having to eat another hamburger.

The Das Brat delivers bratwurst taste with just the right amount of sauerkraut flavor to complement, not overpower the creation.
