Black Bear Spotted in Iowa Corn Field
A farmer combining in here corn country sees all kinds of animals kicked up out of their fields. But I've never heard of a black bear being one of them until now until now.
A man named Eric Reicks posted photos of a black bear roaming a corn field on Facebook yesterday. It happened near the northeastern Iowa town of Schley.
The normal range for a black bear is does not include any of Iowa or South Dakota. They are found in northern Minnesota and Wisconsin. How this guy got to northern Iowa is an interesting question.
