There is always an uneasy peace between bears and wolves in Yellowstone National Park. That was witnessed by guests (and workers) in the park a few days ago as a grizzly and two wolves came face-to-snout in a showdown in Hayden Valley.
The first National Park in the United States to be dedicated celebrated a birthday to start the month of March. March 1st marked 150 years since the establishment of the most iconic of American National Parks: Yellowstone.
Sometimes I see people do naïve things with wildlife and it's funny to me. Other times, I witness stupidity that angers me. This is that second one. It's a guy who decided it was a good idea to feed a biscuit to a bear. He nearly paid dearly for that dumb decision.
If there was an award for not paying attention, it would go to these campers. They would also receive an honorable mention for not being too concerned that their campsite is now a hangout place for a bear as a new video share shows.
