Drivers on one of Sioux Falls' busiest streets are about to encounter not one, not two, but three different traffic disruptions this week.

According to the City's Streets Department, lanes on South Minnesota Avenue will be impacted in three locations.

Where are the lane closures?

Beginning Wednesday (October 22) at 8:30 AM, the northbound outside lane of South Minnesota Avenue between West 14th Street and West 13th Street will be closed. The westbound right turn lane on West 14th Street onto South Minnesota Avenue will also be closed so that window cleaning can be done in the area.

The work is expected to be completed by the end of the day, Thursday (October 23).

Closures - Part 2

Also Wednesday, the outside northbound lane of South Minnesota Avenue will be closed between 28th Street and 29th Street to allow the contractor to complete concrete repairs.

Weather permitting, the repairs are anticipated to be finished in one week.

Closures - Part 3

Then, on Thursday at 8:30 AM, the outside northbound lane of South Minnesota Avenue and the sidewalk on the east side of the street will be closed between West 23rd Street and West 25th Street so that crews can trim trees.

The work is expected to be completed by the end of the day, Thursday.
