B Rock Note: Peter Frampton, Steve Miller Band One of the Hottest Tours of Summer

It's shaping up to be one of the hottest classic rock tours of 2017 - and it's only just begun. Peter Frampton opens the night followed by Steve Miller Band for a collaboration that leaves the rock fan wanting more. You only get about a half-dozen songs into Steve Miller Band when Frampton casually walks out and trades a few blues licks with Miller.

Frampton tells Pulse of Radio that going on the road with Steve Miller feels like going home:

It's celebration enough to be going out with Steve Miller, who -- we're talking about someone I've been friends with since I was 20-years-old, so we go back a long way, (and) played many shows together over the years. And we did a coupla shows a coupla years ago -- loved it. And Steve said, 'We've gotta do a whole tour,' and I said, 'I'm ready!' And so, here it is. - Peter Frampton
