Live On Stage Sioux Falls Announces Lineup For 90th Season
Live On Stage Sioux Falls is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization that helps to bring a wide array of world-class and diverse musical stylings to Sioux Falls.
With their partnership with The Washington Pavilion, they've been able to bring acts such as the Vienna Boys Choir, Canadian Brass, and even The Chicks to the Sioux Empire.
Now, in the 90th season, they are doing what they do best. Bringing in top-notch, eclectic musical acts.
The five acts in the upcoming season include Black Market Trust, The Thalea String Quartet, Sons of Serendip, Let's Rock Broadway, and Mark Kingswood.
The Black Market Trust are scheduled for November 10 and are known for, 'intricate harmonies and a dash of Rat Pack-style comedy.'
The Thalea String Quarter will be in town on January 28th. The Thalea String Quartet is a group of musicians and educators. In each performance, they hope to 'bring timeless music to audiences from all walks of life by connecting on a musical, emotional and personal level.'
Sons of Serendip take the stage on March 8. Sons of Serendip have gained attention for their arrangements of popular music using harp, piano, cello, and voice.
Let's Rock Broadway is scheduled for April 8th. The Diamonds use their harmonies to honor Broadway shows like Jersey Boys, Grease, Mamma Mia, and Motown.
Lastly, Mark Kingswood will grace the stage on May 17th. Mark Kingswood is a modern-day crooner with a four-piece band. The set will include originals and standards.
All performances are in the Mary W. Sommervold Hall at the Washington Pavilion.
