Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Jon Anderson is lending his voice and songwriting talents to a movie about a group of South Dakota women.

Anderson, who co-founded Yes in 1968, has contributed the theme song to Women of the White Buffalo. He is joined on the track by South Dakota native Delacina Chief Eagle.

The documentary, directed by his daughter, Deborah, examines the lives of eight Lakota women, ranging in age from 10 to 98, living on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota. It premiered at select film festivals in 2019.

In April, Deborah has launched a Facebook fundraising campaign to help her afford to release the award-winning film via a streaming platform. The goal is $15,000. As of May 1, $8,594 had been raised in 13 days.

Jon currently has two concerts on his 2020 schedule, a June date in Connecticut, and a July show in Illinois.

He has also announced plans to release an autobiography titled Survival and Other Stories.
