Brace your wallets, Jeff Beck fans: the legendary guitarist's new book, BECK01, is now available for pre-order.

Billed as an ode to his "twin inspirations - hot rodding and rock 'n' roll," Beck's book is being made available in a limited run of 1,650 copies — the first 350 of which will ship in a deluxe edition that includes an extra collector's print and packaging "inspired by the sleek curves, luxurious finish and iconic imagery of his hot rods."

"Deluxe copies are fully bound by hand in Italian leather with silver page edging and hand tooling," reads the publisher's description. "A stamped metal number plate — based on a Californian model from the year Beck was born — is inset into the cover. The large format book (280 mm x 320mm; 11 in x 12.5 in) is housed in a felt-lined solander case. Bound in 'Corvette blue' cloth, the case features a foil-blocked illustration inspired by Von Dutch's legendary pinstriping designs."

All this attention to detail doesn't come cheap. Available now for pre-order through Genesis Publications, BECK01 is selling for £345 — a little more than $500 at current exchange rates. Still, if you've got the money, it makes for a fine conversation piece — or even a Father's Day gift, according to Esquire.

Even if you can't bend your budget far enough for BECK01, there's plenty of new Beck to go around this summer. The book arrives alongside a new album, Loud Hailer, as well as a round of tour dates with Buddy Guy that's set to conclude Aug. 10 with a special Hollywood Bowl performance celebrating his "50 years of dynamic music-making."
