Caitlin Clark Reveals Where She Keeps All Her Trophies [WATCH]
The accolades just keep rolling in for Iowa star Caitlin Clark. Sure, the sting of another loss in the National Title game still lingers, but Clark won another prestigious award on Tuesday.
ESPN reports that Clark was named the winner of the 2024 Wooden Award, given annually to the most outstanding player in women's college basketball. It is her second straight Wooden Award. Clark beat out other top players including Paige Bueckers, Cameron Brink, JuJu Watkins, and Hannah Hidalgo.
It's been several days since Iowa's tough loss to South Carolina. Caitlin Clark finally emerged for an interview on ESPN Sportscenter on Tuesday. Among the topics she discussed were the 45 records she broke during her Iowa career and how she dealt with the pressure of being the face of college basketball.
During the interview, Clark also revealed that after Iowa's loss in the title game, she came back to Iowa City and eventually went back to her parent's home in Des Moines, where she enjoyed a home-cooked meal for the first time since Christmas!
As for all the trophies that Clark continues to pile up, ESPN's Elle Duncan asked her where she puts all her awards. It turns out a storage unit near her parent's house is the answer. Caitlin stated that perhaps someday when she is older she'll put them on display. Better just plan on using an entire room, Caitlin!
