Sioux Falls Gets Saucy, Spreading Lasagna Love!
Do you know a family who could use some kindness or a friend who needs a little extra support during a stressful time in their lives?
If so you might want to reach out to Lasagna Love. It is a national non-profit organization with a chapter working right here in Sioux Falls.
Not only can you nominate someone for this wonderful gift, but you can also volunteer to become a lasagna baker yourself. This program is connected to the Helpline Center and you can sign up to volunteer and get more information through them.
There is a lot to be said for warming up someone's life via their tummy. It's kind of like a neighbor stopping over with a hot dish just at the absolute right time.
Lasagna Love started during the Covid pandemic when one woman's act of kindness inspired others to do the same. It grew into the national movement it is today with around 48,000 volunteers all over the globe.
You can go to Lasagna Love and fill out a request form to send a pan of delicious, hot lasagna to someone you know. Maybe it is a family who is struggling right now, maybe it is a friend who is dealing with a loss.
You fill out the form and your request will go to a volunteer lasagna maker in this area and from there it is delivered to your nominated Lasagna Love person.
