Our friends at Pigeon605 are reporting "HGTV fast-tracked the midseason renewal, according to a statement, noting the show is the No. 1 non-news/cable program among women 25-54 on Mondays at 8 p.m. CST." The second season of Down Home Fab will feature eight episodes and is set to premiere in early 2024.
So why is Chelsea and Cole's new show a huge success? Officials with HGTV say that Chelsea's "social media presence" is a significant reason why the show has gained so much traction.
“Chelsea and Cole’s undeniable on-screen chemistry and enthusiasm for renovation brings in millions of fans every week to HGTV’s platforms. We can’t wait to get the ball rolling on a new season, and in the meantime we’ve got three upcoming episodes and lots more digital content with this dynamic couple in store,” says Head of Content at HGTV Loren Ruch in a statement. Additionally, Pigeon605 mentions that the Down Home Fab is the most popular show page on the HGTV website. More information about this exciting extension can be found here.
