Developing: Sioux Falls Fugitive Arrested After SWAT Standoff
Threatening Minnesota, Iowa, and South Dakota criminals are always on the move. Now the streets are a little safer in the City of Sioux Falls after police officers and SWAT Team members arrested a potentially dangerous South Dakota fugitive.
Our partners at Dakota News Now have the latest information about a Sioux Falls man who was arrested on Tuesday afternoon, July 30th after the SWAT Team was activated.
According to an official press release from the Sioux Falls Police Department, the Minnehaha County Sheriff’s Office Task Force and Sioux Falls Police Department personnel responded to an address in the 800 block of North Dakota Avenue to serve arrest and search warrants. The wanted Sioux Falls man was visited by law enforcement around 4:20 PM.
Who was the fugitive arrested in Sioux Falls? His name is Jarruea Lamar Robinson and he is 42-years-old from Sioux Falls. The Sioux Falls Police SWAT and Emergency Response Teams were activated once Jarruea Lamar Robinson was known to be inside the residence. He was arrested without incident.
