As mentioned before in a previous story, music has always been a huge part of Chris' life. He wouldn't be where he is right now without the love and support of his family.  Everything he's doing on American Idol is for them. Family is his motivation, and you can hear that in each note.

Chris has had his "Ohana" with him throughout his entire American Idol journey. During the latest episode, American Idol introduced the new "Ohana Round." Judges, fellow singers, influencers, and family were on site to determine who would move on to the live shows.

In another moving performance, Chris Tungseth did a rendition of "Iris" from Goo Goo Dolls. It can bring a tear to anyone's eye. Outside of family and friends, this was Chris' first time performing in front of a live audience.

It's like we're watching a diamond in the rough before us. America sees how talented Chris is, too!

People better watch out for this guy. He's good

Loved his performance. His reactions to the other contestants' performances gained my total buy-in! He is a class act human.

This man is going places, love his sound

Next time you see Chris on American Idol, he and all the Top 20 for Season 24 will be singing live for America's votes.

You can watch this season of  American Idol on Mondays at 7 PM on KSFY. The Sioux Empire is behind you, Chris! This is only the beginning for you.
