Imagine Dragons + The Killers To Headline New TC Summer Fest In Minnesota
The Minnesota Twins announced a new rock music festival coming to Target Field this summer.
A new two-night rock music festival is being dubbed "the biggest rock weekend of the year". Before the announcement was made, Target Field posted some teases on their Instagram with the caption "Make this make sense" and added the hashtag TC Summer Fest:
Target Field is no stranger to rock concerts. Let's talk a stroll down memory lane: Back in 2018 legendary bands Journey, Def Leppard, and the Eagles performed there. Last summer the ballpark had Weezer, Fall Out Boy, and Green Day for the "Hella Mega Tour". My first time at Target Field, I saw Nelly, Backstreet Boys, and Florida Georgia Line.
Later this year Pink and Pat Benatar will take the stage for Pink's Summer Carnival Tour. However, this will be the first festival to be held at the ballpark.
If you're still thinking about what the clues mean, let me help you out: The first image is a Killer Whale which represented the popular group The Killers, the next image was a dragon for Imagine Dragons, the explosion symbol might through off as it represented AJR's hit song "Bang", next up was red lips for The Flaming Lips, cutlery served up a clue for Chelsea Cutler, a cute ladybug was shown for Em Beihold's popular tune "Numb Little Bug", taxis was a clue for Deathcab for Cutie, and lastly a microphone to represent the artist Talk. There was no image for the band Cannons though.
Tickets for the inaugural TC Summer Fest will go on sale this Friday, May 5 at 10:00 am. Looks like tickets will be the same price for both days if you only wanted to check out one day, however, the Twins will feature a two-day discount pricing.
There's even a to-be-announced band in the lineup:
