For more than a decade, I've been among the members of the media covering the annual additions to the South Dakota Rock and Roll Music Association Hall of Fame.

This year, I'm still reporting on the new class of honorees, but it's not business as usual.

Because I'm one of the 2023 Rock and Rollers Hall of Fame Inductees, going into the hall in the DJ's category.

I first got word of this tremendous honor back in mid-March and to say I was blown away was an understatement.

I love what I do and try my darndest to do the best show I possibly can each and every day, while never taking myself too seriously.

I've been in radio now for nearly 25 years, but can honestly say that the last 11 as a classic rock DJ have been the most fulfilling of my career.

Between now and induction night, September 30, I'll be doing a lot of reflecting on the people and experiences that have made this moment possible.

I'm not sure it's possible to thank all of the people that have helped me along the way, but I'm going to give it my best during my induction speech. Wish me luck.

That night, there will be 14 other members of the Class of 2023.

Highlighting the group is Kory and The Fireflies.

The band has been around for nearly 30 years and has not only played all over the Midwest but has shared the stage with a host of Rock and Roll Hall of Famers like Def Leppard, Cheap Trick, Heart, Jackson Browne, Journey, John Mellencamp, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Neil Young, Pat Benatar, and Sheryl Crow.

It will be a great honor to be forever linked with this incredible band as part of this induction class.

Sioux Falls: Then and Now

The City of Sioux Falls has changed dramatically over the past several years. Some of the streets, landscapes, and neighborhoods look vastly different than just 10-15 years ago.

Here's a look at Sioux Falls, then-and-now. See if you can recognize some of these old buildings, businesses, and city streets.
