An Amber Alert is designed to alert the public of a child abduction. The latest South Dakota alert was issued last night (March 13) and more than likely your phone gave an audible notification. Here are the details of that particular alert. (pictures below)

A one-year-old boy named Javion Bluebird was abducted from his grandmother's house on Thursday night, March 13, around 9:30 PM. He was abducted by two women in Sioux Falls, SD. According to the alert, a weapon was also displayed during the abduction.

What to do:

1. Keep an eye out for an early 2000s white Chevy Impala with loud exhaust.

2. Call 605-367-7000 if you suspect their whereabouts or spot the vehicle, child, or abductors.

3. Because a weapon was displayed during the abduction, do not approach. Call the number above.

One of the abductors is a Native American female named Lelana Sitting Up. She was accompanied by a 17-year-old female who has not been named. Lelana has a neck tattoo that says "no regrets" and wearing a black shirt with sweatpants.

The child, Bluebird, is only 1 year old, Native American, and was last seen wearing white socks and a diaper.
