Thursday, March 3, 2022 - Two separate groups of truckers are moving their way eastward across the United States in what is called the Freedom Convoy Rally. One convoy started in Tacoma, Washington and is travelling I-90 East and will reach Sioux Falls today (Thursday, March 3).

The convoy will settle in at I-90 & N. Cliff Avenue for two rally events. One of them is from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Thursday, March 3, and the other is Friday morning from 8:00 AM to Noon on March 4th. Rally goers are asked to bring flags, posters, and signs  of support. The public is also asked to park only on city streets and public areas avoiding any private property.

Check out this video posted on TikTok. Some convoys are reported to be up to 65 miles long!

The truckers goal is to rally against public health mandates and restrictions related to COVID. One of the organizers of the Midwest Freedom Rally, Trent Thevenot, told reporters that this is not an anti-vaccine rally but rather "this is about freedom of choice, personal choice." They are hoping to gain the attention of lawmakers across the nation as they make their way to the nation's capitol.

What is the end game for the Freedom Convoy? According to Bring Me The News, the two convoys are joining up with more truckers somewhere in Ohio. This large number of trucks will then roll into Washington, DC.
