Arrest Made in Murder of Missing South Dakota Woman
An active duty airman at Ellsworth Air Force Base in western South Dakota has been formally charged for the murder of a Box Elder woman.
According to AOL.com, Quinterius Chappelle faces federal charges for second-degree murder in the death of 21-year-old Sahela Sangrait of Box Elder.
Sangrait was reported missing in August of last year and her body was discovered earlier this month by a hiker south of Hill City, according to the Pennington County Sheriff's Office.

An investigation determined Sangrait was killed at the base where Chappelle worked as an aircraft inspection journeyman assigned to the 28th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron.
No specifics of the relationship between the two or the details of the alleged murder have been released.
Chappelle is being held for the U.S. Marshals Service at the Pennington County Jail. The U.S. Attorney's Office will prosecute the case.
