Whoever said America's country music kick didn't have staying power?  While we wait for ABC to shore up its big-ticket freshman dramas 'Last Resort' and '666 Park Avenue,' the network has gone ahead with upping country drama sensation 'Nashville' to a full-season order.  Meanwhile, the network has offered an additional display of faith in Tim Allen's 'Last Man Standing,' and even rookie Reba McEntire sitcom 'Malibu Country,' but how long until a final decision is made?

Shine on, country music fans, ABC has your back.  We've just learned from The Hollywood Reporter that the network has officially ungraded Connie Britton/Hayden Panetierre musical drama 'Nashville to a full 22-episode season, following its initial order of 13.  The series opened to 8.93 million viewers, below expectation based on the reviews, but has endured a steady 6 million viewership in its first season.

Also awarded by the network are additional script orders for country music star Reba McEntire' 'Malibu Country' and 'Last Man Standing,' at three episodes each.  To date, only 'Nashville,' 'The Neighbors' and 'Scandal' have been awarded full seasons, while 'Last Resort' and '666 Park Avenue' have additional script orders.

Mostly, we'll take anything that keeps Mrs. Coach on TV.  Do you think 'Nashville' deserved a full season?  Give us your take in the comments below!
