How could you ever choose just twenty? In a state filled with amazing places to live, it looks like one online site has narrowed it down. Money Inc has ranked the best places to live in Minnesota based on things like crime rate, housing costs and the like.

First and foremost, I should mention that Duluth did not make the cut. While it is undoubtedly the most beautiful place you could live in the state, sadly it didn't make the cut in areas where it mattered, like housing costs and crime rates. Sigh.

There are twenty cities that did make the list, though. Some are large cities we all know by name and many are small neighborhoods within those large cities that have a ton to offer. Most spots have low crime rates and a hefty median income. If you're looking to make a little move, this list might help you make a decision on where to head to next.

You probably are like me and are just curious what spots made the list in the first place. The list was made by Money Inc, who also recently ranked the best places to live in Wisconsin using the same methodology. There are many studies like this one with differing lists so just take it with a grain of salt and try not to take too much offense.
