It looks like Mother nature is going to roll out one more dose of winter for the Black Hills Monday night into Tuesday. The forecast for Rapid City calls for a hearty 6" of snow.

It begins with a cool rain Monday that changes to wet and heavy snow late in the evening. Officials say that with the trees in partial bloom, falling limbs could pose a danger.

But wait - there's more. If your heading into the higher elevations, such as Hill City, plan for between 8 - 10" of snow.

Because of the high winds that are expected with this system, the National Weather Service in Rapid City has issued a Winter Storm Watch, which is in effect from late Monday through Tuesday afternoon.

Meanwhile, Sioux Falls should see a few cool, wet days in-a-row with a chance of that rain mixed with snow for Wednesday. Thankfully, not the 6" that Rapid City is expecting.

Yet.

There's always a "yet" with April weather.
