Why Is Jason Momoa Going to Be Hanging Out at Iowa, Minnesota Grocery Stores?
You've seen him on the big screen, but now you'll have a few chances to catch him in person as he returns home later this month.
Actor Jason Momoa will be making a series of appearances in Iowa and Minnesota to promote his latest business venture - handcrafted vodka.
He'll make two stops in Iowa and two in Minnesota over the next few weeks.
- Monday, October 16th: 9.00 AM - 10.30 AM: Fareway, Norwalk
- Monday, October 16th: 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM: Hy-Vee, Urbandale
- Friday, October 20th: 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM: Total Wine & More, Minnetonka
- Friday, October 20th: 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM: Costco, St. Louis Park
That success has led to plans to extend the bottling line in 2024. Meili is currently available in Iowa, Minnesota, South Dakota, and nearly 20 other states.
Another unique selling point is what the vodka comes in. Each bottle is made entirely from post-consumer recycled glass, meaning no two are the same.
The main ingredient in the vodka is also quite specific. Meili only uses water from an ancient aquifer in Montana, which dates back more than 300 million years.
