Why Is Jason Momoa Going to Be Hanging Out at Iowa, Minnesota Grocery Stores?
You've seen him on the big screen, but now you'll have a few chances to catch him in person as he returns home later this month.
Actor Jason Momoa will be making a series of appearances in Iowa and Minnesota to promote his latest business venture - handcrafted vodka.
The Aquaman star, who was raised in Norwalk, Iowa, will be back in the area for a quartet of bottle-signing events for his Meili Vodka.
He'll make two stops in Iowa and two in Minnesota over the next few weeks.

According to a Spirits Business profile, Momoa and his business partner Blaine Halvorson launched Meili earlier this year and have already won three Gold awards in The Vodka Masters.
That success has led to plans to extend the bottling line in 2024. Meili is currently available in Iowa, Minnesota, South Dakota, and nearly 20 other states.
Another unique selling point is what the vodka comes in. Each bottle is made entirely from post-consumer recycled glass, meaning no two are the same.
The main ingredient in the vodka is also quite specific. Meili only uses water from an ancient aquifer in Montana, which dates back more than 300 million years.
