Warrant Coming to Hard Rock Casino in Sioux City
One of the mainstays of the Glam Rock era is coming to the area for a show in September.
Warrant is bringing their Cherry Pie '30 Never Tasted So Good Tour' to Anthem at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Sioux City, Saturday, September 11.
The show starts at 8:00 PM.
Warrant got its' start as a high school band in the mid-1980s in Hollywood and by the end of the decade was one of the biggest acts in music with a debut album that landed in the Top Ten.
Each of the band's first three albums cracked the Top 25 on the Billboard Chart - Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich (#10 in 1989), Cherry Pie (#7 in 1990), and Dog Eat Dog (#25 in 1992).
Along the way, Warrant put five songs from those albums in the Top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100 and landed nine tunes in the Top 40 on the Billboard Rock Chart.
The band's most successful song was the 1989 power ballad 'Heaven' which climbed all the way to #2 on the Pop Chart and #3 on the Rock Chart and cracked the Top Five in both Canada and Norway.
Warrant's most recent studio album 2017's Louder Harder Faster, was their ninth overall.
The core of the group - guitarists Erik Turner and Joey Allen, bassist Jerry Dixon, and drummer Steven Sweet – have remained intact for the most part since 1987. Lead singer Robert Mason replaced the late Jani Lane in 2008.
